The Department of Neurology at Duke is seeking a board eligible/board certified Epileptologist to join its expanding outpatient neurology practice located directly in highly desired Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. Fellowship trained and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with expertise in stereo EEG or advanced ICU EEG will be given priority.
The position will be based across clinic locations in Durham and Raleigh, depending on divisional needs
The physician will provide a mix of outpatient care and inpatient epilepsy services, including coverage of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and EEG interpretation, as determined by the Division Chief.
Successful candidate will a collaborative academic epilepsy practice environment that is closely linked with Duke University?s incredibly rich academic environment.
Clinical responsibilities will include outpatient clinic sessions (focused on epilepsy), EMU and/or ICU EEG service weeks, and routine EEG reading.
