Clinical Responsibilities:
- Inpatient Consultations: Comprehensive surgical consultation services for hospitalized patients
- Outpatient Clinic & Inpatient Consults will cover 2 ministries.
- Emergency Coverage: Participation in trauma and emergency surgical care as part of the regional call system
- Outpatient Services: Clinic-based consultations and follow-up care
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with primary care physicians, specialists, and advanced practice providers

Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program
- Board certification or board eligibility in General Surgery
- Valid Illinois medical license or the ability to obtain
- Hospital privileges or the ability to obtain
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in relevant subspecialty
- Experience with robotic surgery platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
