The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSOM) in conjunction with IU Health Physicians, is seeking a neuropathologist with strong diagnostic skills to join our team. This individual will be based at the IU Health Central Pathology Laboratory (IUHPL). The neuropathology division is part of robust, subspecialized anatomic pathology group of greater than 50 pathologists with a plan for expansion. This division serves 10 hospitals within the IU Health network, Eskenazi Health and Roudebush VA Medical Center resulting in an excellent case mix. Pediatric neuropathology is associated with Riley Children's Health, the only comprehensive pediatric hospital in the state with an active neurosurgery service. This division supports comprehensive neuropathology fellowship training program for up to 2 fellows per year. The division also supports the academic and research missions of the IUSOM which includes the Stark Neuroscience Center, Indiana Alzheimer's Disease Center and IU Health Neuroscience Center.
Responsibilities
Deliver professional diagnostic services within neuropathology
Provide on-call coverage and conference support with department faculty members
Actively participate in educational activities with medical students, residents, and fellows, including 1-2 neuropathology
Broad range of specimens: robust adult and pediatric neuropathology, muscle and nerve biopsies, ophthalmic and autopsy pathology

Qualifications:
Fellowship trained in neuropathology, Board Certified with 3 years of experience
Eligible for licensure in the state of IN
MD, DO or equivalent education
