The UNC Rex Healthcare is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist to join the medical intensive care team. The candidate will join the medical intensivist team which includes both physicians and practice providers.

• 20 bed Medical-Surgical ICU managed by Critical Care team

• 20 bed Cardiac ICU managed by a multidisciplinary team of Critical Care team and Cardiologists
• 10 bed Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery ICU managed by Surgery physicians with consultative services provided by Critical Care Medicine
• 10 bed Neurosciences ICU managed by Neurocritical Care physicians who work closely with the Medical Critical Care team
• NC Medical License

UNC Rex Hospital is a 550-bed hospital, which is a state-of-the-art 5 star Joint Commission certified Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center. UNC Rex is also one of the busiest vascular and cardiac centers in eastern North Carolina. It is centrally located in Wake County, one of the fastest growing counties in the country, and is part of the UNC Health Care Systems which consists of 13 hospitals with a large referral base.
