POSITION SUMMARY: MED3OOO Practice Resources is seeking an Practice Administrator to be an integral part of the management team. This position is responsible for providing leadership and management direction to a large cardiovascular physician group. The position oversees the operations of the medical group to ensure accomplishment of the Company�s strategic goals and objectives. The Practice Administrator is also responsible new business development including physician recruitment. This position works with physician leadership, Corporate Management, hospital administration, practice managers, practice staff, other clients, consultants and business vendors and serves as a liaison between the various constituents. This position is responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the all activities associated within the physician group,
- SIGNIFICANT RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develops strategic business plan with specific financial goals and objectives. Prepares annual budgets and is accountable for maintaining financial goals and objectives for the physician group.
- Generates new business for the physician group ensure continued growth. Establishes strong relationships with existing clients to ensure a prosperous and effective partnership.
- This position is responsible for providing leadership and management direction to Cardiovascular Associates (the physician group).
- Develops and implements�s the physician group business services to clients in the area. These services include the following:
- Practice Management Services
- Billing and Collections Services
- Chart Auditing Services
- Accounting Services
- Human Resources Services
- Consulting Services
- Manage Care Contracting Services
- Clinical Trials
6. The position oversees the operations of the medical group to ensure accomplishment of the Company�s strategic goals and objectives.
- Coordinates monthly practice meetings with physicians and practice site manager for review of standard operational statistical and financial reports.
- Serves on the Management Committee of the physician group.
- Effectively Represents MED3000 and the physician group within the medical and local community.
Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Education: Bachelor�s Degree in Business or Health Administration or related field. Master�s Degree preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of experience with group practice management. Cardiovascular and supplementary/satellite services experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be a self-motivated individual who can organize, lead, and manage a fast paced growth oriented management company. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with the MED3000 Corporate staff and Cardiovascular Associates Management Committee Members, physicians, health care professionals, hospital administrators, office staffs, consultants, and other employees. Skilled at reading and interpreting financial statements and other basic accounting practices. Knowledge of third party payers reimbursement system and other managed care systems. Ability to effectively generate new business leads and successfully negotiate contracts. Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner. Excellent public speaking skills. Must demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and good judgment in dealing with clients.

- Work Location: Indoors, heated/air conditioned office.
- Work Postures: Position is essentially sedentary; incumbent spends approximately 75% of the time in a sitting position and 25% of the time walking and standing.
- Lifting/Carrying: Occasional lifting/carrying of boxes and supplies up to 50 pounds.
- Equipment: Frequently, approximately 50% of the time uses personal computer, copy machine, and fax machine.
- Visual Acuity: Works with printed copy along with detail displayed on computer monitor.
- Hearing: Position entails moderate amount of phone contact, incoming and outgoing.
- Work Hours: Minimum of 40 hours a week, Monday � Friday.
- TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS: Incumbent encounters moderate to high amount of stress, manages simple to complex projects involving 2 or more team members. Must balance multiple priorities and heavy workloads under strict deadlines.
- TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical office environment. Subject to frequent noise volume in a shared office environment with other individuals and office equipment including the background noise of telephones, photocopy machine and computer printers. Subject to VDT exposure. Involves frequent contact with staff and public. Evening or weekend work required. National and local travel required.
