Goryeb Childrenas Hospital in Morristown, NJ, is looking for a fifth BE/BC Pediatric Intensivist to join our award-winning critical care team. This is primarily a clinical position, but the ideal candidate will be expected to be involved in other activities, such as teaching, QI, clinical program development, etc. Our philosophy is to provide evidence-based, high-intensity, family-centered, compassionate care.
The hospital has an independent pediatric residency program, with 12 residents per year. We are also responsible for teaching Emergency Medicine residents, Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellows, and medical students. We see a commitment to teaching as one of the core values of our division.
Goryeb Childrenas Hospital is a tertiary center with referrals from all of Northern New Jersey. The hospital is a Trauma Center, Magnet Hospital, and a Fortune 500 Best Places to Work. The 15-bed Goryeb PICU has received the Beacon Award two times, and our childrenas hospital is the pediatric flagship for Atlantic Health, a network of 5 hospitals in Northern New Jersey. We have access to most pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties, an active pediatric neurosurgical program, and access to all the technology expected in a modern PICU (HFOV, nitric oxide, cardiac output monitoring, CVVH, etc.). We do not have a pediatric cardiac surgery program.
