Robley Rex VA Medical Center, Louisville KY, is recruiting for a full-time permanent physician in our Neurology Department. The Neurology department plays a vital role in caring for our veterans and their needs. We are looking for physician candidates interested in personal growth and career development in our mission arms of excellent care, and superior teaching. Medicine residents and medical students. Candidate must possess a full and unrestricted license in any stat. Candidate must be board certified in Neurology and associated subspecialty (i.e. epilepsy, stroke, movement disorder etc). Duties include but are not limited to: The candidate will participate in an inpatient and outpatient neurology consultative services, EEG, and play an active role in teaching of residents/medical students when appropriate. Provide consultations to Emergency room and Inpatient service Outpatient clinic responsibilities and management Consultation services to patients and families Participate in Peer Review process when needed Participate in committees as assigned by Chief of Medicine Candidate will report to Neurology Section Chief and Chief of Medicine Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (Schedule is variable, working M-F with on-call rotation) Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
