Rice Lake Center is a 55+ provider multi-specialty regional clinic. Duties include all aspects of routine outpatient and hospital care of newborns, infants, children and adolescents. Average number of patients seen in the office daily is 15-25. Call coverage is 1:8, and provided at adjoined medical center.

Marshfield Medical Center - Rice Lake opened its new facility attached to the Marshfield Clinic - Rice Lake Center in 2011. This 40 bed facility includes 16 ER/UC beds, 27 inpatient rooms including 3 pediatric and 5 ICU rooms, 4 OR's and 4 L&D rooms. The combined campus provides a wide variety of medical services and serves as a training site for the Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine (WARM) program. Other healthcare professional students also train at the center.
Rice Lake, located in Northwestern Wisconsin, serves a regional area of approximately 50 mile radius. The city of 8,000 has a stable economy centered around healthcare, manufacturing, and retail trade. The area school system provides students with an excellent educational experience, including Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC) and University of Wisconsin-Barron County Campus.
