Comprehensive Ophthalmologist

Excellent opportunity in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains for BC/BE, Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join an established, successful, and progressive multi-specialty ophthalmology group in the Asheville/Hendersonville, North Carolina area. This position will replace a retiring ophthalmologist and is based in our Columbus location in the foothills of the Appalachians. The retiring ophthalmologist has practiced in this location for over 30 years and has developed a strong patient base that will be passed along to the new physician. This is an employed position with a potential partnership track.  We welcome inquiries from both new grads and established mid-career surgeons. This is a high growth opportunity requiring a candidate who is highly self-motivated to promote and grow their referral base. The individual we seek should possess strong communication skills and should be confident in his/her own professional skill set.  

This office is located on the campus of St. Luke’s Hospital providing easy access for surgical cases within steps of the office. Candidates will have demonstrated excellent surgical skills and graduated from an accredited ophthalmology program. Ability to get along with peers and staff in a collaborative, team oriented environment is essential. Candidates will possess outstanding bedside manner with patients and place patient service as their top priority. The physicians and staff take pride in offering excellent patient care and personal service.  The practice offers an exceptional technical and business support team to assist with the success of this position.
