Orlando Health, a not-for-profit healthcare organization with $5.6 billion of assets under management serving Central Florida and beyond, seeks an outstanding leader as the Chief of Urogynecology for Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.
The Chief of Urogynecology will be responsible for developing, building and leading the Division of Urogynecology and for providing evidence-based and multidisciplinary care for women with urogynecologic conditions. In addition, the Chief will provide leadership and management to the division members in order to support the Division mission and goals for patient care, education and public service. The Chief will represent the division externally to regulatory agencies, other healthcare organizations and providers, and the public. The Chief will work with other Women’s Health Division Chiefs and other clinical leaders as appropriate to support and advance women’s health goals.
Essential Functions Include (but are not limited to):
Lead, direct, and oversee all urogynecology clinical services at all Orlando Health locations.
Provide direct patient care in the field of urogynecology.
Daily oversight and direction of employed physicians who work within the Division.
Actively participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
Produces, monitors, and tracks quality and safety targets for the Division, developing corrective action plans as indicated.
Serves as division representative for patient services and complaints; is responsible for clinical reviews and responding to same according to organizational policy.
Work collaboratively with patients to meet and improve their health and well-being within the outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings.
Actively participate in strategic planning, facilities planning, pro-forma and business analysis, budget preparation, for the division.
Communicate and collaborate with the President of OHMG, the other Winnie Palmer Physician Division Chiefs, the President of Winnie Palmer and Chief Operating Officer of OHMG.
In cooperation with the President of OHMG, COO of OHMG and President of WPH, participate in strategic, financial and operation planning for future urogynecological services for Orlando Health, including the development of capital operating budgets.
Monitors and reviews provider satisfaction survey results, developing action plans in partnership with administrative partners as indicated.
An MD (or equivalent) with a track record of administrative leadership experience is required for this position.
Established record of clinical program development and leadership within Urogynecology.
OB/GYN trained Urogynecologist and completion of an accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
Board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Board Certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Florida.
