| Internal Medicine Program Director Opportunity at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ Atlantic Health System is currently seeking an Internal Medicine Program Director for Overlook Medical Center in NJ Overlook Medical Center is seeking a dynamic Program Director to lead this long-standing, well-established program that has been fully accredited by the ACGME since 1961. The program is comprised of 36 residents (33 categorical 11/11/11, 2 preliminary and 1 chief resident) and has a diverse faculty which includes 1 PD, 1 APD, and 8 core faculty. At least 50 others salaried or voluntary physicians across a broad range of specialties contribute to the clinical and didactic programs. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated leader to continue the development of this highly successful program. - Candidates must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and eligible for a New Jersey license
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an ACGME-accredited internal medicine program
- Experience as an associate program director is preferred
Responsibilities of Internal Medicine Program Developer/Director - Building, leading, administering, and supervising all aspects of this Internal Medicine Residency Program
- Complying with ACGME Program Requirements including curriculum and faculty development
- Developing standards, quality and reputation of the Internal Medicine Residency Program
- 50% clinical practice time and 50% protected time for administrative duties
