Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, FL seeks a pediatrician to join our Neonatal Hospitalist Program. JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital, ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospital in multiple pediatric specialties. As a complement to our well-established pediatric hospitalist program, a dedicated team of three neonatal hospitalists provide a continuum of care to late preterm and at-risk term infants from birth to post-discharge. The neonatal hospitalists function as the primary attending for a subset of patients in the NICU step-down unit. Responsibilities include inpatient care along with seeing NICU graduates in an outpatient follow-up clinic. We offer a very supportive environment to practice as a neonatal hospitalist: new and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute collaborates with the Pediatric Hospital Medicine program to provide physicians with advanced opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement, educational research and other scholarly pursuits. Pediatric hospitalists are actively involved in teaching pediatric residents in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Residency Program as well as USF Health pediatric residents and medical students. Additionally, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital has a Pediatric Hospital Medicine and ACGME accredited Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship program.
JHACH is a leader in children’s health care, combining a legacy of compassionate care with the innovation and experience of one of the world’s leading health care systems.
