MEDNAX has an exciting opportunity for a world-class Neonatologist Leader to become a Corporate Medical Director with a team of 15 highly skilled neonatologists and 10 nurse practitioners at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies in Orlando, Florida. This is the largest NICU in the MEDNAX portfolio with 142-beds and an average daily census of approximately120 babies.

The Corporate Medical Director (directly or through designees) provides professional leadership to the Practice and the Hospital in carrying out its patient services and research activities. While spending approximately 70% of time on clinical duties and 30% on administrative duties, the Corporate Medical Director will be expected to manage resources and foster an atmosphere conducive to provider development, education, clinician collaboration, clinical productivity and to provide outstanding clinical care for the patients and families we serve. The Medical Director will also be responsible for programmatic growth within the Practice as well as building the regional and national reputation of the Neonatology program. These responsibilities will impact the following areas.
Supervision of the Associate Physicians, Employed Allied Health Professionals, Hospital Associate and Administrative Assistants
Quality Management & Patient Safety
Education and Research
