The University of Arizona Cancer Center at Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center is seeking candidates for Medical Oncologist positions for Staff & Leader roles for our new oncology program. Our goal is to create & sustain a best-in-class patient care & clinical research program. The care delivery model is based on disease-site teams composed of medical, surgical, radiation, radiology, nursing, pathology, nutrition, psychosocial, survivorship & genetics experts. The Oncologists will be responsible for direct patient care, participating in clinical trials, teaching, patient safety & quality efforts &—as appropriate—provide medical coverage for the Chemotherapy & Infusion Center. The oncologists will be employees of the Dignity Health Medical Group & be eligible to apply for non-tenured faculty appointments at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. The multidisciplinary teams work closely with the UA Deputy Director, Dignity Health Medical Group Chief Medical Officer, & the Dignity Health Vice President for Oncology Services to ensure the growth of the clinical patient care program & the implementation & growth of a clinical trial research program.
