Portland Oregon - The Providence Heart Institute, the largest provider of cardiovascular care in Oregon, is seeking a full-time physician BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant cardiology to join our advanced heart failure team, which includes five board certified heart failure physicians, dedicated mid-level providers, and nurse navigators. Responsibilities include inpatient care of advanced heart failure patients, including management of patients with both short term and durable mechanical circulatory support, and outpatient care of heart failure, VAD, and transplant patients. Experience with performance of TEE, right heart catheterization, endomyocardial biopsy, and implantation of CardioMEMS devices is a plus.
The Advanced Heart Failure program is based on the Providence St. Vincent campus, which has the highest volumes in the region for cardiac surgery, percutaneous valve and structural heart interventions and advanced electrophysiology procedures.
