Geisinger Health System is seeking BC, fellowship-trained cardiothoracic radiologists to join the Radiology Department.
The Department of Radiology at Geisinger Health System, a national leader in quality, innovation, research and education, is seeking cardiothoracic radiologists to join our system-wide team of nearly 80 fellowship trained radiologists.
The cardiothoracic imager will work collaboratively and in support of our growing cardiology and vascular service lines, composed of 46 cardiologists, 8 CT surgeons, 11 CV surgeons and 7 cardiac surgeons. Geisinger is committed to technology, and continues to invest in it system-wide. We use a single PACS and single RIS across the system, in addition to voice recognition. The system has five 64-slice scanners, 12 digital mammography units, cardiac CT/MRI, computerized digital X-ray, PET-CT and an open MRI to complement our other MRI scanners, including a state-of-the-art 3T magnet.
Join the team that America is watching. David T. Feinberg, MD, who began his tenure as president and chief executive officer of Geisinger Health System in 2015, said it best: “Practicing at Geisinger is a tremendous opportunity to further your career at an organization that is having an impact on healthcare throughout the United States. America definitely pays attention to what we are doing here, and we welcome the opportunity to set an example as we provide innovative and compassionate care and better serve our patients.”
