Full Time - Experienced
All Children’s Specialty Physicians (ACSP) is a growing group practice at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida that includes more than 200 physicians in over 30 pediatric specialties. ACSP has initiated a search for a neonatologist to serve as medical director of our affiliate site in nearby Brandon.
You will join the ACSP team of over 30 neonatologists and 40 advanced practice providers covering 10 Neonatal ICUs across the Tampa Bay region but practice at Brandon Regional Hospital (BRH).
Located just 10 miles east of downtown Tampa, greater Brandon is a thriving region of over 265,000 residents and one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country.
BRH is a 438-bed acute care facility that has been recognized for its excellence in care.
ACSP now provides care in several pediatric specialties at BRH including neonatology.
The 22 bed, Level III NICU is staffed 24/7 by ACSP neonatologists, advanced practice providers, and neonatal nurses.
We seek an experienced neonatologist to serve as medical director and provide leadership to our neonatology team at BRH.
The ideal candidate will be a strong clinician who is also willing to be the neonatology “ambassador” for ACSP in the hospital and community.
While the primary responsibility is at BRH, this position is a member of a greater multi-disciplinary team that makes up the newly created Johns Hopkins All Children’s Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute (MFNI).
MFNI will provide physicians with advanced opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement, educational research and other scholarly pursuits.
Neonatologists are actively involved in teaching pediatric residents in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Residency Program as well as USF Health pediatric residents and medical students.
Additionally, a new ACGME accredited neonatology fellowship program has been approved at JHACH and will begin in 2018.
