Ensure site compliance with all policies/procedures and recommend updates as necessary to meet local, legal, and accreditation requirements.
Participate in a call rotation, as needed, for the site to ensure 24/7/365 physician coverage and consultation for the clinical and security staff.
Actively participate in the evaluation and monitoring of chronic illness and suicide prevention programs.
Actively participate in site, region, and corporate-wide efforts to ensure compliance with national ACA and NCCHC standards necessary for accreditation efforts.
Responsible for helping to identify appropriate qualified specialists, hospitals, ancillary providers, transport providers, and other support groups necessary to provide high-quality, cost-effective care to the site’s patient population.
Work collegially and cooperatively with the site medical director, other physicians, and any other medical professionals working within the medical facilities at the assigned site.
Participate in the development of medical/clinical policies and case consultation to clinical staff, as requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS The following requirements list the minimum to qualify. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
Current Medical license in the state of Maryland required.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Current CPR certification
General math, analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills essential
Demonstrated experience meeting multiple deadlines; must ensure documents are ready for review well in advance of any deadline
Must be able assist staff with various policies, administrative and organizational projects
